When diverse colours in a forest blend the greens like olive emerald lime & jade the yellow of the daisies which pretend they are small suns the trilliums in the shade displaying trinities purple or white the blue of chicory we know will fade & wither Whether weather’s grey or bright we marvel at the beauty that’s been made When diverse textures in a forest blend we don’t pretend the smooth should be made rough the hard should be made soft the straight should bend but comprehend that each shows just enough what God intends If there had been no fall we still would not be made identical
